Academic Excellence
RATIONALE
30.1
In
order to recognize and encourage the students to pursue excellence in
academics, the school administration decides to award the following awards to
our students. Since the school has
classes ranging from VII to XII it is not very practical to consider all the
levels at par with one another. Therefore, it is decided to have three levels.
30.2
The
three levels are: LSSCE Level for VII and VIII, BCSE Level for IX and X, and
BHSEC for XI and XII
30.3
The
list of award winners will be maintained on the Academic Honour Roll Board with
their photographs.
30.4
This
award is initiated to give due recognition to those who have done very well in
the mid term examination.
30.2 CATEGORY OF AWARDS
30.2.1
Overall Toppers
30.2.1.1 There will be only one topper from each level. In case of
ties, both candidates
will be eligible for
the awards.
30.2.1.2 The toppers will be irrespective of the streams for the
BHSEC level.
30.2.1.3 The candidate must have passed in
all the subjects.
30.2.1.4 The marks in each subject is inclusive of the continual
assessment
30.2.2
Subject
Toppers
30.2.2.1 One student for each subject scoring
the highest mark in that particular subject from the particular level.
30.2.2.2
It
will be for all the levels
30.2.2.3
Student
must get minimum of 75% to be eligible.
30.2.2.4
In
case of ties, both candidates will be eligible
30.2.2.5
The
student must pass in all the papers
30.2.2.6
The
marks in each subject is inclusive of the continual assessment
30.2.3 Principal’s Certificate of Excellence
30.2.3.1
Overall
aggregate should be 80% and above
30.2.3.2
The
candidates should pass in all the papers.
30.2.3.3
All
the eligible candidates will be entitled to get this award
30.2.3.4
The
marks in each subject is inclusive of the continual assessment
30.2.4 Institute Certificate of Excellence
30.2.4.1
A
certificate of perfect attendance will be awarded to those students who do not
miss any instructional day during the academic year.
30.2.4.2
The
certificate will be awarded twice: one before midterm and one after midterm, to
encourage students to come to school.
30.2.4.3
Students
on official duty will be considered for the attendance certificate.
30.2.4.4
Any
form of leaves will not be considered for the award.
30.2.5
Board
Examination Toppers
30.2.5.1
If
a student tops the board exam in BCSE and BHSEC they will the awarded as prizes
as follow:

First
position: Nu.10000/-
30.2.5.3
Second
position: Nu.7500/-
30.2.5.4
Third
position: Nu. 5000/-
30.2.6
Certificate
of Perfect Attendance
30.2.6.1
A
certificate of perfect attendance will be awarded to those students who do not
miss any instructional day during the academic year.
30.2.6.2
The certificate will be awarded twice: one before
midterm and one after midterm, to encourage students to come to school
regularly.
30.2.6.3
Students on official duty will be considered for
the attendance certificate.

award.

Recognition
30.2.7.1
All the students who fulfill any of the above
mentioned criteria are eligible for Khadar and certificate ceremony with the
faculty of Bajothang HSS.

invited guest will grace the occasion and do the honour.
